Authenticity/Counterfeit Suspensions
Amazon always protects the consumer, frequently at the cost of fairness to the seller. Many sellers receive authenticity complaints and are left wondering what went wrong.
“Authenticity/Inauthentic,” does not mean that you were necessarily selling products that were counterfeit. Instead, this violation can most likely occur from instances such as the item being damaged, the item not matching the picture as advertised, a piece of the item is missing, the packaging doesn’t match the description, and a customer’s unsubstantiated complaints. If a seller receives such a complaint, Amazon may initiate an ASIN violation for that listing, or worse, a full account suspension. The best way to avoid such situations is to tackle these complaints directly with the consumer and try to resolve any issues they may have with your service or product prior to them having chance to post a bad review or a formal complaint to Amazon. Regardless of the circumstances, we’ll devise and craft an applicable plan of action that will assist to resolve this issue and provide guidance on how to steer clear of such complaints altogether.
